Training: 9:00 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Testing: 1:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
The training will cover
general standards for pesticide applicators, parts of the label,
record keeping, personal protective equipment, mixing and handling,
storage and disposal of containers, and environmental safety.
There will be discussion on specific restricted use pesticides
labeled for ornamental aquaculture including Bayluscide, Dimilin,
Karmex, and rotenone. Testing will take place immediately
after the training. Two CEUs for the Core and 2 CEUs for the
private applicator category have been requested.
